PPES News: AIMS Week!

Dear Parents,

Well, it's here again! AIMS week is upon us. Please remember that students need to be on time to class during testing and that once testing has begun, students cannot be allowed to enter the room until the subtest is finished. Also, please check with your teachers to find out their exact schedules, whereas pulling a student from class during testing will stop his/her participation in that test and it will have to be scored "as is." Please make arrangements, as much as possible, to do any pickups between tests. Lastly, if you have any suspicion that your chid may be ill, it is advised that the child stay home. Getting sick during a test will also end participation in that test; it would be better to come healthy during a makeup period! Again, your teachers can let you know those schedules.

I want to apologize for having to call you twice on Friday! These blogs aren't "instant;" there is often a several hour (or more!) delay. So, you received conflicting messages. However, I do believe we made the right call on postponing the Walk. There will be specific information forthcoming, so stay tuned.

That's it for now. Don't forget that Tuesday the 19th is a half-day, with dismissal being at 12:30.

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

Mike
