We're almost there! Here is a handful of other items for you:
- Infinite Campus portals should be opened this weekend at some point, so you can find your child's assignment. Just a reminder about a statement I made last year that, "Class placement is far from a perfect process and sometimes we simply can't make everyone happy, in spite of our best efforts. I will not be able to honor move requests at this time and encourage you to work with your teacher to have a great year!" I can't tell you how much energy we have dedicated to creating balanced classes while attempting to honor input. The teachers worked very hard to make it all happen and then I carefully reviewed and approved the lists. It's a labor of love! For those who are often concerned about a child not having friends in a new class, that's the opportunity to make new ones! Every time that is a concern, it evaporates within a week. So, no need to worry. They'll feel right at home very soon!
- Special thanks to our awesome PTO for their support this week of our teachers' return to work. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful group in our corner.
- We will see you on Wednesday morning for "Meet the Teacher" at 8:00 a.m.! I really miss the kids and can't wait to see them, again.
