I have an urgent reminder for you this evening, having just communicated with a parent who nearly had her child hit in the parking lot by a car driving much too fast. I cannot stress enough how imperative it is that we stay patient and cautious when driving in our lots or nearby streets. There is no appointment, or other time commitment, whose importance exceeds that of our children's safety. An incident, such as the one we narrowly avoided today, would create a result none of us would want to live with.
